Used Booksale information
GREAT NEWS!!!!!!! This year REACH will hold their used booksale on the same day as our convention.
Yes it is still free to shop the used booksale. The fee to sell your books is below.

REACH Used Booksale - May 16th, 2009:
It is that time again to start thinking about the upcoming
Used Booksale that will take place on the 16th of May 2009.
This is a big event that draws lots of folks to come and
shop for their next year curriculum and etc.. Last year
alone sales were over $17,000.00. Last year we allowed folks
to pay with a credit card and that increased the sales from
the other previous sales by over $4,000.00. This is a one
time event that happens each year usually around the first
Sat in June. To participate in this sale you must email
me for a seller number and send in your fee for the number.
Please include with your money a Self addressed stamped
envelope so I can send you the seller form to use. Please
make copies of this form once you have received it.
The cost for a REACH member to sell books and etc is
$15.00 and non-members of REACH the cost is $20.00 to sell.

The REACH Homeschool Group is having it's big Used Book
Sale on the 16th of May from 9am to 3pm at the Virginia Sports Complex in Ruther Glen. FREE admission. Cash or MC or Visa
accepted. NO checks please. This is a large booksale with
over 8000 + items. Their is something for everyone.
Curriculum, unit studies, dvd's, vhs, cd-roms, religion,
foreign language, K-12 grades, readers, computers, history,
science, arts and crafts, music, games, puzzles, toys,
and much more........
Your label will have a place for you to list where you
would like this item to be placed at. See list below.
Categories: Unit Studies, Math, English, Science, History,
Foreign Language, Spelling, Social Studies, Logic,
Cd-Rom's, DVD, VHS, Toys, Puzzles, Games, Arts and Crafts,
Religion, Readers, Computers, Misc. items.
FREEBIE table is for all items that you wish to give away
for free. Please help yourself to the FREE tab le. Lots
of goodies get put on the free table.
All books and items must have a seller label on them or
it can not be sold. Drop off will be on the 30th of May
from 4:30-7:30pm. Pick-up all remaining books on Sat the
31st between 5 and 5:30pm. Books not picked up by 5:30pm
will be donated to the youth group. I cannot carry the
books back home with me. If you do not want the books
back PLMK when you check-in and whatever books are left
over I will place on the freebie table.
Basically you drop off books on Friday night only and
then you come back by 5-5:30pm to pick up what is left
over. You do not need to stay at the sale. It is not a
garage sale type of sale. You don't mann your own table.
So here is how it will work.
1. Send your pymt into me for a seller number and a form.
Send to Wanda Sloper, 35451 Wilderness Shores Way, Locust
Grove, VA 22508. Make check payable to REACH.
2. I will send you a seller number and t he form to use
to label all of your books via mail. Send a SASE so I can
send the form to you.
3. Once you receive the form please make copies and use
the label to label all of your items. If an item is FREE
you do not need to label it. Please put all FREE items
in one box or bag and mark free so we know that these are
freebies.
4. Any color you wish to make the label is fine.
5. Please don't use glue on the labels. We must be able to
get the labels off the books so that you get credit for
the sale. If we cannot get the label off we won't sell
the book.
6. Place all labels in the top right corner of the book.
6.5 - Place a label inside of the book please with your
seller number, name and a price - this is to help us find
lost books and also know a price of an item to sell. NO
TAG WE CANNOT SELL.
7. You choose the pricing for all of your items for the sale.
8. Shopping time is from 9-3pm on the 16th of May 2009.
9. Cash or CC are accepted. Mastercard and VISA only
10. Pickup all remaining items at 5-5:30pm at Virginia Sports Complex.
11. If books are not picked up by 5:30pm they will be donated
to the youth group. Please make every effort to pick them up.
12. If you are picking up someone else's books please give
me a letter stating so. Just a quick note to say that I
Wanda Sloper is picking up Buchele's books.
13. Checks and labels will be mailed to you one week after
the sale. Make sure I have a correct mailing address for you.
14. REACH is not responsible for lost or stolen books,
video's and etc.....
